We are proud to announce the release of JS5.3 which is the latest iteration of our JetStream product.
JS5.3 is more than just another version of the same old thing, we believe that this is truely innovative approach to software deployment which allows us to delivery a truely personal experience to each user as they interact with your global database solution. When we talk about users, we are talking about each and every operator, driver, manager, cleaner as well as clients, suppliers agents and public.
The JetStream database is an all encompassing database which began as an Asset Management and Finance solution has blossomed into a multifaceted platform encompassing Manufacturing, Stock Management, Resource Scheduling, and e-Commerce functionalities.
Traditionally, each business deployment would involve developing an app to satify the core business requirements and probably separate apps for the other users/applications. JS5.3 moves away from this model all together.
At the heart of JS5.3 lies a revolutionary approach to software delivery and management. JS5.3 uses a library of applets, each applet is designed to function independently yet seamlessly integrate into one larger ecosystem. Our current library consists of two hundred apps and this is growing by the day. Our current estimate is that we will end up with over a thousand different apps to cover all the different data tables in their various contexts.
Each solution deployment will have access to the entire library and the key function in setting up the solution is to pick out the applets required and to arrange them into a menu structure that works for the business. Each user of the system will be given access to the menu items required to do their job and provide them with the required information.
The magic of JS5.3 unfolds when a user logs into the system. The system compiles a personalized App for that user based on the menu items assigned. For many users 'in the field' they will require very few applets so the resulting App is ultra-lightweight. This groundbreaking approach not only minimizes resource overhead but also enables seamless accessibility, even on mobile devices, empowering operational staff to record data directly, thereby saving time, enhancing accuracy, and driving cost savings.

JS5.3 allows us to deliver Apps which are task focused we encourage the use of the User Dashboard. This concept is designed to push in front of the user the tasks that we would like them to address. e.g. A stores operator might get "Orders to pick" and "Deliveries expected" where as accounts clerk might get "Invoices for Payment"
Security is also important, when allowing user access to an applet we can also set the users access level. This means as a business you have fingertip control over who has access to which feature.
Whether it's a specialized room booking system or intricate accounting requirements, Jet-IT works closely with clients to tailor solutions that align with their goals and workflows. For many businesses, their requirements in a particular area are more specific. The library strucure allows us to simply offer a bespoke applet to be used instead of the default applet allowing us to present the data differently. The development of a new variation of an applet will be a fraction the cost of a specialised feature.
With JS5.3, scalability is no longer a concern. As all solutions have access to the full features of the Jetstream database and these applets are easily included into the menu structure, businesses can evolve and expand and the JS5 solution grows with them.
The sharing of the applet library means that any issues identified are resolved quickly and these fixes are automatically applied to all systems.
